Dr Jay Lombard

He is the Chief of Neurology at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Centre. In addition to his clinical duties, he is an Associate Professor of Neurology and Phar­macology at Touro University College of Medicine, Assistant Professor of Neurol­ogy at Weill Cornell Medical College, and a Clinical Instructor of Neurology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He is the author of several critically acclaimed books, including the recently published work Freedom from Disease. Dr. Lombard has lectured extensively both nationally and internationally on the role of nutrition in brain function. A member of the Medical Advisory Panel for the Cure Autism Now Foundation, he has lectured extensively on both the neurobiology of the autistic syndrome and on the application of complementary medicine in neurological disorders.

He was elected one of the “Best Doctors in New York” by  John Connelly’s Guide to the Best Doctors in New York 1997, 1998 , 1999 and 2008.

Dr Lombard translates the complexity of neurochemistry and neurotransmitters into clinical pearls with remarkable synthesis and clarity, providing practitioners with a valuable insight into the neurobiology of mental health.
